In a Verasight survey of 1,509 U.S. adults conducted July 30-Aug. 4, 2025, about three-quarters (76%) say the ability to integrate AI into work is at least somewhat important to a worker's success in today's economy, including 14% who call it extremely important.

Moderate importance is the leading view: 39% of Americans say the skill is somewhat important and 23% very important. That leaves 24% on the doubtful side, with 16% saying not too important and 8% not at all important.
