China tech-access restrictions leave many Americans undecided

In a Verasight survey of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted April 9 to 15, 2025, 44% of Americans said they neither approve nor disapprove of foreign policies that restrict China's access to critical technologies.
About four-in-ten said they approve (40%), including 18% who strongly approve and 22% who approve. Roughly one in six disapproved (17%).
