More than half always turn to search engines to find information online

When Americans look for information online, search engines are the tool of habit: 52% say they always use one like Google or Bing, and another 35% often do, according to a Verasight survey conducted July 30-Aug. 4, 2025.
A smaller share (10%) use one sometimes, and just 2% each say they rarely or never do.
