In a Verasight survey conducted May 16-17, 2023, roughly two-thirds of Americans (66%) say they are not aware that about 16 oz of water is required to power an average ChatGPT conversation.

Just 10% say they are aware of it, while about a quarter (25%) are unfamiliar with ChatGPT altogether.
