The largest bloc of Americans does not lean either way on AI's morality: 39% see the technology as neither moral nor immoral, according to a Verasight survey conducted Feb. 28-March 6, 2025.

The rest tilt negative: 36% of Americans view AI as more immoral than moral, including 8% who say it is extremely immoral. A smaller share (25%) leans the other way, including 5% who call AI extremely moral.
