Most Americans say AI hasn't taken over the tasks they once did themselves

Nearly eight-in-ten Americans (78%) say there are no tasks that AI now does for them that they used to do themselves, according to a Verasight survey conducted July 30 to Aug. 4, 2025.
The remaining 22% report that AI has taken over at least one job they once handled on their own.
