A slim majority of Americans (52%) say they have used an artificial intelligence tool such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude to get health-related information at least once in the past year, while 48% never did, according to a June 2025 Verasight survey that put the question to 490 U.S. adults.

That use is mostly infrequent: 21% have done so just once or twice, and 16% about once or twice a month. Relatively few (15%) have used one at least weekly for health information, including 3% who have done so every day.
