Three-in-four Americans (75%) say they have not used AI when it comes to their finances or investing, according to a March 2026 Verasight survey of 1,000 U.S. adults.

One-in-four Americans (25%) have used it in at least one of these ways, and research is the biggest draw: 14% of all adults have used AI to research financial topics, 11% investment options, and 9% financial companies or providers. Fewer have acted on it: 9% have made a decision about saving, budgeting, or spending based on what they learned from AI, 5% have made a specific investment, and 4% each have chosen a financial company or provider or used AI to help find a financial professional.
