In a Verasight survey conducted Oct. 1-11, 2024, a majority of Americans (56%) agree that media covers politicians from minority backgrounds differently than it covers White ones. That includes 24% who strongly agree.

About three-in-ten (31%) neither agree nor disagree, while 13% disagree, including 7% who strongly disagree.
