In a Verasight survey of 496 U.S. adults conducted May 11, 2026, most say they do not worry that ICE might stereotype them because of their race or ethnicity. About two-thirds (66%) disagree with that statement, including 43% who strongly disagree.
About a quarter (26%) agree that they worry, while 8% neither agree nor disagree.
