Close friends or relatives abroad are uncommon

In a Verasight survey of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted April 9 to 15, 2025, 62% of Americans said they do not have close friends or relatives living outside the U.S.
About four-in-ten said they do, including 19% with one or two, 5% with three or four, and 13% with more than four (38%).
