Friendship satisfaction is high

In a Verasight survey of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted Oct. 1 to 11, 2024, 75% of Americans said they are satisfied with the number of personal friendships they currently have, including 43% who said very satisfied and 32% who said somewhat satisfied.
About a quarter said they are not satisfied, with 17% who said not very satisfied and 7% who said not at all satisfied. Another 1% said none of the above.
