Global women's rights matter for democracy

In a Verasight survey of 3,000 U.S. adults conducted Sept. 22 to 29, 2025, 73% of Americans agreed that global women's rights are critically important for advancing democracy worldwide. This includes 40% who strongly agree and 33% who agree.
Few Americans disagreed (5%), with 3% who strongly disagree and 2% who disagree. Another 22% were neutral.
