Most Americans say stereotyping women has no place in their personal values. Nearly eight-in-ten (78%) say it is untrue that using stereotypes about women is OK by their values, including 51% who say it is 'not at all true,' according to a May 2026 Verasight survey.

Agreement is rare: just 2% call the statement 'very true,' while roughly one-in-five (20%) sit somewhere between the two.
