Honor is very important to seven-in-ten Americans

In a Verasight survey of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted May 11, 2026, 69% of Americans said their honor is very or extremely important to them. Including 32% who said extremely important and 37% who said very important.
Another 17% said their honor is moderately important and 10% said somewhat important. Few Americans said it is not at all important (3%).
