Just over half say their friends all know each other well

A narrow majority of Americans (52%) agree that most of their friends know each other very well, including 10% who strongly agree, according to a Verasight survey of 509 U.S. adults conducted in May 2026.
About a quarter (24%) neither agree nor disagree, and 23% disagree.
