In a Verasight survey of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted May 22 to 24, 2024, 51% of Americans said they had visited a museum, aquarium, botanical garden, or zoo in the past year.

Nearly half said their last visit was more than one year ago (45%), and 5% said they had never visited one.
