More than half say their parent was close to their grandparents before they were born

More than half of Americans (55%) agree that their parent was close with their own parents before they were born, including 16% who completely agree, according to an August 2025 Verasight survey.
About a fifth (21%) are neutral, and 24% disagree, including 7% who completely disagree.
