More than three-quarters say women should be cherished and protected by men

A large majority of Americans (76%) endorse the idea that women should be cherished and protected by men, including 46% who strongly agree.
Just 7% disagree, while 17% neither agree nor disagree, according to a Verasight survey conducted Sept. 22-29, 2025.
