Most Americans consider themselves culturally open
Core finding
In a Verasight survey of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted Feb. 28 to March 6, 2025, most Americans (91%) consider themselves at least somewhat culturally open.
That includes 28% who see themselves as very open, 33% mostly open and 30% somewhat open. Fewer than one-in-ten (9%) land on the not-open side, including just 1% who are not open at all.
