Most Americans don't see themselves as far-right
Core finding
More than half of Americans (54%) say the term "far right" does not describe their politics, including 40% who say it does not fit at all, according to an April 2025 Verasight survey.
About one-in-five (22%) say the label fits them at least somewhat, with 7% saying it fits strongly. Nearly a quarter (23%) are not sure.
