Most Americans haven't heard of the Tigray genocide

Nearly eight-in-ten Americans (78%) say they have not heard of the Tigray genocide, according to a November 2024 Verasight survey.
Another 13% say they have heard of it and that it took place in Ethiopia, while a combined 8% place it in Sudan, Ukraine, Syria, Eritrea, or Yemen.
