Most Americans (64%) say they never engage with violent content on social media, according to a May 2026 Verasight survey.
A smaller share (17%) do so less than once a month, putting a combined 81% at monthly or less. The rest engage more regularly: 9% a few times a month, 8% a few times a week and 2% every day.
