Nearly half of Americans have no plans for more education

Just under half of Americans (49%) say they are not interested in pursuing more education or professional learning in the near future, according to a Verasight survey conducted Dec. 3-8, 2025.
About a third (32%) express some interest, from those already enrolled to those looking beyond the coming year, while one-in-five (20%) are not sure.
