Six in ten don't keep a firearm at home
Core finding
Americans who keep a firearm in their home are outnumbered roughly two to one: 31% say they have one, while 60% say they do not, according to a Verasight survey conducted Nov. 14-20, 2025.
Another 5% prefer not to respond, and 4% are not sure.

Are any firearms now kept in or around your home? Do not include guns that cannot fire; include those kept in cars, or outdoor storage.
