Two in three reject the claim that Black men lack emotion

In a May 2026 Verasight survey of 509 U.S. adults, most Americans (66%) push back on the statement that Black men are devoid of emotion, including 38% who strongly disagree.
About one-in-four (27%) neither agree nor disagree, while just 7% agree or strongly agree.
