Two-thirds expect to use social media about as much next year

In a Verasight survey conducted Dec. 22, 2025 to Jan. 5, 2026, roughly two-thirds of Americans (65%) expect to use social media about as much in 2026 as they did the year before.
A smaller share expects to cut back (17%), while fewer expect to use it more (14%); just 3% do not plan to use social media at all.
