A majority of Americans (57%) report no cannabis use at all during the month before a Verasight survey conducted Aug. 20-25, 2025.

Among all U.S. adults, about one-in-five (19%) say they followed a set of personal rules governing their cannabis use that month, including 7% who strongly agree. Another 10% disagree, 13% take neither side, and 1% decline to answer.
