In a Verasight survey of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted Nov. 19 to 22, 2024, 53% of Americans said they are at least somewhat likely to consider receiving a pneumococcal disease vaccine if eligible. This includes 34% who said very likely, with another 20% who said somewhat likely.

About a quarter said they are unlikely to consider it (24%), with 15% who said very unlikely and 9% who said somewhat unlikely. Another 23% were neutral.
