In a Verasight survey of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted Nov. 14 to 20, 2025, 54% of Americans said they are at least somewhat concerned that climate change could increase their own risk of getting an infectious disease like Lyme disease or West Nile virus. This includes 18% who said very concerned and 36% who said somewhat concerned.

About half said they are not concerned (46%), with 24% who said not too concerned and 22% who said not at all concerned.
