For many Americans, MAHA hasn't changed how much they trust food and healthcare

Core finding

About four-in-ten Americans (40%) say the Make America Healthy Again movement has not shifted their trust in U.S. food, beverages or healthcare, and another 20% say they are not familiar with MAHA, according to a Verasight survey conducted Aug. 1-6, 2025.

Reported change tilts slightly negative: 22% say their trust decreased, including 13% who say it greatly decreased, while 18% say it increased, including 8% who say it greatly increased.
