In a Verasight survey of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted Oct. 1 to 11, 2024, 70% of Americans agreed that medical professionals can be trusted. This includes 11% who strongly agree, 33% who agree, and 26% who somewhat agree.

About one in seven disagreed (14%), with 7% who somewhat disagree, 5% who disagree, and 3% who strongly disagree. Another 16% were neutral.
