More than half feel isolated or left out at times

In a Verasight survey conducted March 6-16, 2026, more than half of Americans (55%) at least sometimes feel isolated, lacking companionship, or left out.
That includes 17% who feel that way often and 38% who feel it sometimes, while the other 45% say hardly ever.
