Most college-goers say they were never food insecure

Nearly half of U.S. adults (45%) say they attended college and were never food insecure, and another 9% are in college now and not food insecure, according to a November 2025 Verasight survey.
A combined 17% of all adults say they experienced food insecurity in college, including 14% who were food insecure while a college student and 3% who are in college and food insecure now. The remaining 30% never attended college.
