Most say doctors respect patients who are simply themselves

Most Americans (60%) agree that a patient who is simply themselves with their doctor, sharing health concerns exactly as they experience them, is likely to be treated respectfully, including 22% who strongly agree.
About three-in-ten (31%) neither agree nor disagree, and just 9% disagree, including 3% who strongly disagree, according to a January 2024 Verasight survey.
