In a Verasight survey of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted Nov. 14 to 20, 2025, 95% of Americans said it is at least somewhat important to assess all women for risk of developing heart disease as part of their routine prenatal care, regardless of symptoms or medical history. This includes 56% who said very important, 27% who said important, and 12% who said somewhat important.

Few Americans said this screening is not at all important (1%). Another 4% said they are not sure.
