About a third of Americans (36%) would consider $62,192 fair pay for their current job, according to an August 2025 Verasight survey.
Roughly one-in-five (19%) are not employed, and the rest spread across degrees of under- and overpayment, led by the 10% who call that salary extreme underpayment.
