Management and leadership skills win near-universal endorsement: 94% of Americans rate them at least somewhat important, with extremely and very important tied at 34% each, according to a July 2025 Verasight survey.
Somewhat important covers the remaining 26% of that majority, while just 6% call the skills not too or not at all important.
