Americans credit Biden's policies most for recent economic shifts
Core finding
A plurality of Americans (41%) attribute recent economic shifts mostly to President Biden's policies, more than double the 16% who point to President Trump's.
Beyond the two presidents, 17% see other factors outside either's control as the main driver, while 15% say they don't know and 12% credit Biden and Trump equally, according to a January 2024 Verasight survey.
