In a Verasight survey of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted Dec. 3 to 8, 2025, 44% of Americans described their day-to-day financial situation as somewhat or very comfortable.
Another 31% said they were just getting by, while 25% said they were having a hard time or really struggling.
