Even a life without money worries would leave most Americans' politics in place. More than six-in-ten (63%) say their political attitudes would not change if their finances improved to the point that money was never again a concern, according to an April 2025 Verasight survey.

The rest anticipate some movement: 14% say they would lean more economically liberal, 12% more economically conservative, and 11% expect to change in some other way.
