Many Americans say their finances give them room to pursue their goals

In a Verasight survey conducted Nov. 14-20, 2025, 42% of Americans agree that their financial circumstances give them the freedom to pursue their goals, including 12% who strongly agree.
A smaller share (35%) disagree, including 17% who strongly disagree. About one-in-five (21%) stay neutral, and 1% are unsure.
