About four-in-ten Americans (42%) feel good about their economic future, including 12% who feel very good, according to a Verasight survey conducted Oct. 1-11, 2024. That is about twice the 21% who feel bad about it, including 7% who feel very bad.

The largest single group feels neither good nor bad (32%). The remaining few either did not understand the question (4%) or declined to answer (2%).
