Most Americans (62%) say they do not use intoxicating hemp-derived THC products, a March 2026 Verasight survey finds.

Asked what they would do when the products are no longer legally available outside state-licensed marijuana dispensaries, 16% say they would buy similar products from a dispensary, even if it means traveling out of state, and 9% would turn to informal or unregulated local sources. Relatively few would stop using these products (4%) or switch to another intoxicating substance (2%), and 7% are not sure.
