Core finding

Six-in-ten Americans (60%) expect the next election to be conducted fairly, including 42% who say somewhat fairly and 18% who say very fairly, according to a March 2026 Verasight survey.

The remaining four-in-ten expect an unfair contest, including one-in-four (25%) who say somewhat unfairly and 15% very unfairly.
