About seven in ten reject the idea that American society should be torn down

In a Verasight survey conducted Feb. 28 to March 6, 2025, about seven-in-ten Americans (69%) reject the statement that American society should be burned to the ground, including 43% who strongly disagree.
Another 18% neither agree nor disagree, while 14% agree with the statement, including 4% who strongly agree.
