About as many Americans disagree (37%) as agree (34%) that the country's social institutions cannot be fixed and should be torn down to start over, an April 2025 Verasight survey finds.
Strong feeling runs about even on each side: 12% strongly disagree and 11% strongly agree. The other 29% take neither position.
