Roughly four-in-ten Americans (41%) see higher-education policy as an area where the two parties can find common ground, an October 2024 Verasight survey finds, including 12% who strongly agree.

More than a third (36%) are neutral, and about a quarter (23%) disagree that the issue is one where the parties can come together.
