Text or email reached more Americans than any other campaign channel during the 2024 election cycle, with 53% saying a campaign or party contacted them that way, according to a Verasight survey conducted Oct. 1-11, 2024.

Direct mail came next at 35%, followed by social media ads (28%) and phone calls (22%), while far fewer were reached at the door (10%); nearly three-in-ten Americans (28%) report no contact from any campaign or party.
