Verasight surveyed 1,000 U.S. adults from August 12 to 18, 2026. Nearly three-quarters of Americans (72.8%) think most for-profit companies benefit a lot from activities such as lobbying and campaign contributions.
Another 15.6% are unsure, while 11.6% think most companies do not benefit. The question covers lobbying, campaign contributions and support for candidates.
